Photographica Adriatica in August

This years summer Adriatica Photographica is successfully behind us.

Beautiful towns of Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Zadar and Rovinj and mesmerising nature of Plitvice National Park and Krka Waterfalls were just some of the stops of this late summer photo wandering in Croatia.

We enjoyed the bustling streets of the old towns, picking the views over them from the panoramic spots, we tried proper Balkan meat, learned what does "Konoba" mean, had lots of Plavac wine and plenty of coffees and ice creams where we could. It was hot, but the midday in the hotel pool was not a bad idea at all. Weather was on our side for sure.

Small group was our advantage, we could explore more and taylor the tour by our needs and will. The clients know the usage of the tripods, CPL filters, long exposures and especially system filters, that we used almost every day.

Thanks to Fujifilm Slovenia for the support with the cameras.

Here are some photos of the places we visited. Next one - May 2020. Get your spot reserved soon!

Morning in Dubrovnik Old Town
4.30am in Dubrovnik old town

Dubrovnik, Stradun
View on old town from above. 400mm is useful sometimes

Sunrise in Split, Croatia
Tried some new spots for the sunrise in Split. Looking good.

Cathedral in Split, Croatia.
Just love the clouds around the main cathedral in Split

Hvar old town
Hvar, overnight.

Visovac, Krka NP
Visovac in the Krka National Park. The roads around were closed so it was an adventure to visit the viewpoint. It was so dry that in every village one guy was watching as a fireguard.

Zadar, Sv. Štosije
Zadar never dissapoints. Charming mediterranean town.

Plitvice National Park
Croatian "must see" - Plitvice National Park

Veliki Prštavac, Plitvice NP
Probably my fav photo of the tour - detail of shadows and lights over Veliki Prštavac waterfall in Plitvice NP

Brown Bear, Velebit, Croatia
A surprise for the clients - wildlife photography on Velebit Mountains

Cats, Croatia
Cats doing what they do best.

Arena Pula, Croatia
Pula coliseum. Second biggest in the world after Roman one.

Rovinj at sunset, Croatia
Ending the tour in Rovinj, one of my favourites. Clouds prepare a nice goodbye to the tour too.

Boat, Zadar sunset, Croatia.
All in all, it was an amazing tour and we were able to click some exceptional photos. Join us in May 2020!
