MORAVIA PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
The fields of Southern Moravia are becoming one of the most photographed world spots, as the similarity with the Tuscany and undiscovered locations are becoming a magnet for the photographers from all over the world. Spring time and Autumn time are simply magical, when the fields are in the best colour. The rural area and small villages are forming charming landscape and soft light reflects perfect from the fields. And at the end of the day, it is time for traditional Czech beer, one of the best in the world and great gastronomy of the area.
Our 2020 and 2021 workshops will take place in the city of Kyjov in the center of the South Moravian region and will cover the best locations from Šardice Valley, St.Barbara chapel, "Tsunami" hill, Kunkovice windmill, Chestnut alley and much more. You will be taken to several sunrise and sunset sessions, and in meantime, we will enjoy the peaceful and beautiful green meadows surrounding us.

Our meeting point will be Vienna. We can pick you up on the airport or in hotels in the city. Drive to Kyjov in the late afternoon. Kyjov will be the place, where we will stay for the whole workshop. Local brewery brews traditional czech beer and the food here is delicious. The medieval city center is also nice and cosy. Check in in the hotel, briefing and dinner.
Sunrise in the hill nearby Kyjov at the spot of St. Barbara chapel. White chapel surrounded with few trees and green fields full of crops is an ideal motive for any landscape photographer and is perfect in the soft morning light. Little down the road there is a chance to photograph beautiful vineyard of a local wine maker. Back to Kyjov for breakfast. Free time. Afternoon drive to Šardice valley where we will be surrounded by many different patterns, rolling hills, agricultural area and trees. We can spend the whole afternoon there and wait for nice conditions for the sunset at rolling fields, which is one of the most famous spots in the area. Overnight in Kyjov.
Early morning in the area of Stražovice for the sunrise image of the area of St. Barbara from the different point of view. Back to Kyjov for breakfast. Free time. Drive to the village of Čejč and nearby vineyards and capture the chestnut alley from the hidden viewpoint. Even though, Czech republic is world recognised by its beer, the wine of the region also stand among the best wines in the world. Today's golden light will be reserved for Tsunami, which is one of the most beautiful land forms in the Southern Moravia.
Sunrise in the one of the hills surrounding Kyjov area. After breakfast and free time, we will drive to Chvalkovice windmill and spend the day photographing nice landscapes north of Kyjov. Windmills are an important landmark of the area as the winds here do not have any obstacles in forms of high mountains so in the history the agricultural people learn how to use natural power for themselves. There are many tiny villages and beautiful towns in the area. In the evening, we will capture golden hour at Kunkovice windmill, the most remarkable windmill of the area. After dinner in the nearby restaurant, we can return for some astro photography. Late night return to Kyjov and overnight there.
Late morning. Breakfast. After breakfast, we will evaluate our photographs and new knowledge. Check out and departure towards Vienna. On the way, we can also find some interesting spots for landscape photography.
