This website is designed, developed and maintained by Trips4photos (Nejc Trpin and Leni Ozis). Any use of its material, especially photographs, is not permitted. Despite the efforts to ensure the accuracy of the website, some things on the field can change. We reserve the right to change the content of the site if we notice change.
Bookings will be accepted as long as the tour/workshop (hereinafter referred to as the 'tour') will be available. By booking the client accepts the terms and conditions written on this site and has carefully read the dates and requirements for the tour and is aware that the tour involves risks of personal injury, death, or loss or damage to property. After receiving your inquiry or e-mail, we will respond as soon as possible and send you additional information and payment details. Your booking will be considered as confirmed, when we receive your deposit payment. Once you sent in your deposit, we will send you the tour itinerary, together with transportation options, directions and meeting times.
Tour price and payment
The tour fee includes the services of a guide/skilled photographer, transport with an SUV for tour activities (or van if needed), entrance fees, accommodation with breakfast (excluded in one day trips). For details check individual tour website page. Tour fee excludes airfares and other transport costs to and from tour beginning and ending locations, meals other than breakfast, snacks, drinks, additional activities, expenses of personal nature and travel insurance. Gratuities to accommodation and food providers are customary. Any non-photographer (spouse, friend, significant other) who wishes to come along must pay the full price of the tour (except the Ljubljana Photo walk).
Deposit payments and tour payments can be made via bank transfer in EUR (details upon inquiry). Any processing charges or fees are your responsibility. A deposit to reserve your place on a tour is due at the time of booking and presents 25% of the tour price. On paying the deposit, you will receive a conformation e-mail and further details about the tour. Full payment for the tour is due 30 days prior to the tour start date. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the payment is not received within the agreed terms. Our tour rates are based on a minimum of two persons booking. If sufficient attendance is not met, and you still want to do the tour, there will be an additional charge, which will cover our organisational costs. In case any such price increase becomes necessary, we will contact you immediately.
If you find it necessary to cancel your tour, please let us know as soon as possible. We require a written notice of cancellation by e-mail. The following fees, which are calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation notice, will apply
90 days or more before departure - Bank fees
89 days - 60 days before departure - Deposit
59 - 30 days before departure - 30 % of the tour fee
29 days - 15 days before departure - 60% of the tour fee
14 days - 8 days before departure - 80% of the tour fee
7 days or less before departure - 100% of tour fee
In case we can find someone to take your place, only the deposit is retained.
Trips4photos reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case a full refund of all amounts paid will be given. We are not responsible for expenses connected with preparations of a cancelled trip (non-refundable plane tickets, visa/passport fees, medical expenses, individual transfers etc.) and other travel plans associated with the cancelled tour. We will make every reasonable effort to contact you as soon as it appears that a tour may be cancelled. In case of a tour being cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (safety threats including natural disasters, political instability or logistical problems that may affect tour operations), there will be no refund. Please contact your travel insurance provider for details in such cases. We are not responsible for ensuring the appropriate level of amount of coverage is purchased.
Travel insurance is not included in the tour fee. We strongly recommend you take out adequate travel insurance to cover personal accidents, baggage, tour cancellation/interruption fees, delays or missed flights, sickness and medical expenses. It is also advisable to have insurance for your photographic gear.
Photographic gear and baggage
Trips4photos does not take any responsibility for lost, stolen, or broken photographic gear that our clients use during our tours or for the client's baggage. Each client is personally responsible for his/her gear and baggage.
Prices are based on a shared double/twin bedroom basis unless otherwise stated. Single rooms are available on request and will be subject to an extra charge. The room distribution is specific with each accommodation provider (hotel/guest house/touristic farm), which means that in some cases no single rooms are available, but there will be an option of one person staying in a double/twin bedroom (same room at a lower rate for only one person). We will also assist persons requesting a roommate and in case a roommate is not available, a single rate will be charged. Although every effort will be made to carry out your requests, we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met and have no liability if they are not met.
Trips4photos will not cover the costs for any damage caused by the client to the accommodation provider's property.
Food and drink
On the tour, three meals per day are included in the price at most of the local providers. Where no breakfast is offered, we will prepare it, and the preparation is included in tour fee. Alcohol and beverages are excluded in the tour price. When you send your booking form, please let us know for any special medical conditions regarded on food or requests (vegeterian, vegan...) so we can arrange the meals.
Passports, visas and other papers
It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that all the required travel documentation is in order for the countries to be visited during the tour.
While we do not demand a high level of fitness on most of our tours, but a good general physical condition is necessary. On our website you can check the required fitness level for every tour under the tour subpage. If you have any physical limitations or concerns please let us know. As we are not qualified to evaluate your level of fitness we ask that you determine whether or not you are able to join one of our tours. If you have any special medical conditions, we encourage you to check with your doctor before you reserve your tour. We reserve the right to decline anyone that we consider unsuitable due to their insufficient level of fitness. We also reserve the right to remove from the tour, at the client's own expense, anyone whose condition is such as is could cause a damage to himself/herself or others, or otherwise have a negative impact on the enjoyment of other clients on the tour. Clients affirm that they are covered by medical insurance, which is valid abroad.
Responsibility and liability
Although our tours are not of adventurous nature, photographing in the nature always includes an element of personal risk. Before the tour departure each guest will be required to fill out the medical and liability release form.
Our tours require a degree of flexibility and clients have to understand that the tour's route, itinerary, accommodation and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances. While traveling with us, you accept the authority of the leader at all times. You need to be aware that traveling in a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and abilities of group members. Trips4photos reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary. Unforeseen circumstances due to mechanical breakdowns, weather, threats including natural disasters, political instability or logistical problems that may affect tour operations, may cause delays or alternations to the tour. We will assume no liability in any way in of these possible occurrences. If changes are made, tour leaders will plan each day considering the interests of the group. Clients have no right to any refund or other considerations in the event of these itinerary changes. We are not responsible for any additional costs that may arise in the event of a tour change or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Trips4photos will assume no liability for losses or additional expenses due to loss, damage, injury, illness to persons or property arising from any cause associated with tour participation or transit thereto or therefrom. The client indemnifies and holds Trips4photos harmless from and against any loss, damage, claims, demands and legal and other costs and expenses (including legal costs on attorney and own client scale) arising from any cause associated with tour attendance. If you are injured or become ill, we may at your cost, arrange or supply medical treatment, evacuation or any other emergency services on your behalf as we deem necessary or appropriate for your safety and well being.
The client must at all times comply with the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of all countries visited during the tour. In addition, the client acknowledges that any disruptive, dangerous or potentially dangerous behavior during the tour will not be tolerated and that we reserve the right to exclude the client from the tour at any point therein in such circumstances. We are not responsible for any costs and/or expenses for the client resulting from exclusion as aforesaid and no refund or rebate will be given.
Model and photo release
Trips4photos reserves the right to take photographs/videos of tour clients and to use them in connection with the advertising and promotion of future tours and Trips4photos projects. Our clients will receive a copy of any such photographs/videos. Your booking serves as a release of liability of Trips4photos and cooperating partners and complete assumption of all risks. There will be no compensation to the client. If the client disagrees with the terms, he/she must notify us in writing prior to the departure of the tour. Copyright for all photographs, video and related materials created by the clients belong to them upon creation. Any material voluntarily provided to Trips4photos and cooperating partners can be used for advertising and promotional purposes of future tours and Trips4photos projects.
Any claim should be submitted to our company during your stay or a maximum of 15 days after the end of the tour. All claims need to be in written form and sent to our company. Any claim sent more than 15 days after the end of the tour shall not be considered as valid.
The general method for solving problems concerning the tour is negotiation. In case that the results of such negotiations are not found satisfactory by either of the parties, courts in Slovenia are considered the courts of appeal and arbitration.
Trips4photos oblige themselves to respect your privacy and will not use or share any client information except for personal correspondence and for the needs of the tour.
According to the new EU law we state:
We collect the personal data of our clients that will be used for following purposes:
- Making the reservations of accommodations
- Sending the basic instructions on a private e-mail regarding the tour or workshop
- Keeping your e-mail address for the future tours
Special categories of personal data concered are:
- medical condition for the tour/workshop

We do not send any personal data to the third parties we use.
By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving Trips4photos team a permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified. Consent is required for Trips4photos to process both types of personal data, but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking for sensitive personal data (Medical condition...) we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.
